Présentation de l'association los colibries guardianes de la tierra
The objectives of the association are to create or protect areas of nature reserves, to develop their biodiversity and to set up alternative life models that respect nature and human beings.
It is also a question of offering to true "guardians of the earth" the possibility of having a place of life, and in this place, by the action of the man who can be so positive ... yes , it's possible! to develop the biodiversity of fauna and flora, while developing crops in accordance with natural balances and using methods of agroecology and agroforestry reasoned.
We could cite two legends, two tales at the origin of the creation of the association:
The first legend is happening in the Amazon rainforest.
In this forest, we can see trees as far as the eye can see, but looking a little better, we see a tree bigger and higher than all the others.
This tree, it has branches that say, "Come to me, people of birds! Come to me, I welcome you. "
And all this little world squints, plays, discusses ... lives in harmony.
But one day, a great misfortune happens, the tree catches fire, helpless birds rise in the sky contemplating their tree go up in smoke.
Through the smoke, they distinguish a small bird that goes to the river take a drop of water in its beak and put it on the tree.
He returns to the river to take a drop of water in his beak and throws it on the tree
and again returns to the river tirelessly, takes a drop of water in its beak and deposits it on the tree.
And this little bird is hummingbird.
You know, this little multicolored bird with a long beak to suck the nectar of flowers.
"But hummingbird, what are you doing? Come ! It is useless, come join us! "
"I do my part, I do my part, I do my part of work to extinguish the fire! "
"And you too, come and do your part, do your part! Your part of work to put out the fire. "
The birds look at each other, perplexed.
And in the same momentum, they rush towards the river, take a drop of water in their beaks and deposit it on the tree, then return to the river to take a drop of water in their beak and throw it on the water. tree and return again to the river, tirelessly take a drop of water in their beak and deposited on the tree.
And these millions of drops of water form a rain so fine and so dense that the fire eventually dies out.
Since that day, the tree has been reverberating, harmony has returned to it and everyone has kept in mind that it must do its part.
The second legend is the tale of the hummingbird of the Andes, the golden hummingbird It says that when we have a dream, a desire that comes from the depths of our soul, we can tell the hummingbird, this one will transmit it to the silver humming bird that flies to the sun. There, the silver hummingbird explains to the spirits of the sun the wish that this being carries in his soul. If the spirits of the sun accept the dream of this soul, because this dream goes in the sense of unity and love for the earth, the silver hummingbird will turn into golden hummingbird. The golden hummingbird then comes down again with the light and the energy necessary so that the dream, the goal and the desire of this soul, which walks in union with the earth, is realized, that it becomes reality.
